Sewer system rehabilitation utilizing ultraviolet cured-in-place-pipe lining.
Background
Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) contracted with LEE + RO for assistance with their Ultraviolet (UV) Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining Project, which included the lining of 15 segments of 6-inch to 12-inch diameter sewer pipe. Each segment ranged from approximately 120 feet to 300 feet in length.
Scope of Work
LEE + RO provided Construction Management services to facilitate pre-construction and in-progress construction meetings. LEE + RO also provided construction engineering support, which included reviewing submittals and RFI’s, onsite field inspection, daily inspection reports, acquiring lining coupons and samples for testing and analysis, reviewing lab reports for successful test results and notifying SMWD of any deviations, and lastly, reviewing CCTV reports and analysis reporting any deviations or defects as specified in the Contract Plans and Specifications.
