Charles Ro has been a project manager and project engineer for treatment plant, pump station and pipeline projects, and has experience in civil/mechanical/process design, treatment plant and pump station hydraulics, pipeline rehabilitation and repair, and construction management and inspection services. Varied experience working on numerous types of facilities throughout the planning, design, and construction process has given him a broad understanding of design, construction, and management of capital projects.
Eric Lovering has over 24 years of process mechanical/electrical/ instrumentation & controls (I&C) system engineering and project management experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, industrial facilities, and standby power generation. He maintains two California PE licenses – “Civil” and “Electrical.” Eric’s core competencies include pump station hydraulics and pump selection, mechanical equipment, piping systems, and electrical & control systems engineering. His project experience includes system analysis, alternative studies, vendor selection, engineering, design, construction, PLC programming, start-up & commissioning, troubleshooting, and O&M consultation. Eric has hands-on experience with pumping equipment, diesel and gas-driven generators, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers, low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, and I&C systems.
Amritendu Maji is a licensed Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over 25 years of expertise in the planning, design, construction, and administration of public works infrastructure, focusing on water and wastewater pump stations. He excels in delivering technical solutions to complex challenges, with expertise in hydraulics, hydraulic modeling, constructability reviews, QA/QC, feasibility studies, cost estimation, and compliance with permitting standards like the Clean Water Act.

James Gingrich is a California registered structural engineer with more than 30 years of structural analysis, engineering, design, constructability analysis, value engineering, project coordination and construction management experience. He has been the structural project manager, QA/QC reviewer, and lead structural engineer for planning, investigation and condition assessment, preparation of preliminary & final design, seismic analysis and upgrading, and construction phase engineering services for a wide variety of concrete and steel structures for water conveyance and pumping facilities, water storage, treatment and distribution facility projects for Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California. His experience and expertise include rehabilitation & retrofit engineering & designs for existing facilities. His representative experience includes lead designer for the Lake Matthew Outlet Facilities, Colorado River Aqueduct Pumping Plant Seismic Upgrades, and Oxidation Retrofit (Ozone Disinfection) Projects for MWD’s Mills, Jensen, Weymouth, Skinner, and Diemer Water Treatment Plants.
John T. Young has 40 years of mechanical design experience. In the last twenty-five years, John has worked with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) as the project Design Manager for various CIP projects, including Water Treatment Plant Oxidation Retrofit Projects, Solids Handling and Water Reclamation projects, domestic water system improvements projects, and large-size valve replacement projects (slide gates, roller gates, fixed cone valves).
Shiv Murti is a SCADA, and electrical controls engineer who has worked at five water treatment and six pumping plants, and many water distribution control structures for more than 25 years. During this period, Shiv worked on more than 80 projects including chemical tank farms, chlorination, ozonation of water treatment plants, a solar generation plant, and automation of distribution facilities. Prior to joining LEE + RO, Shiv worked for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California as a Senior Engineer for 18 years.
Jay Jung has 19 years of water and wastewater treatment process analysis and research, facility engineering, design, construction, and start-up & commissioning experience. His areas of expertise include pilot or full-scale testing, sampling and data analysis, and configuration of treatment process trains. He has much experience with feasibility studies, condition assessment, hydraulic analysis, and preparation of preliminary design reports. Jay develops facility design criteria, process flow diagrams and P&IDs, plant hydraulic profiles, and final design drawings. As a project manager, Jay coordinates the design, including construction specification development and cost estimating, communicates with clients, and coordinates design activities with the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and I&C design disciplines. During the construction phase, Jay manages shop drawing & equipment submittal reviews, RFIs and change order processing, and startup & commissioning activities.
Boyana Angelova is a Civil Engineer specializing in water and wastewater projects including sewer rehabilitation replacement, water replacement, combined sewer overflow systems, water storage, sewer pump stations, and UV replacement projects. Boyana has gained valuable experience working on numerous small to large water and wastewater projects covering planning, design, and construction administration. Her project experience includes the development of specifications and providing design support, preparation of hydraulic calculations, permit preparation and coordination. Boyana is skilled in engineering software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Storm, and Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, OpenLCA, Stella Modelling, and Simulation. Aside from her design support experience, Boyana has provided construction administration support including assistance with RFPs, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
Jordan is a California-registered Electrical Engineer with 5 years of experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, treatment plants, pipelines, and reservoirs. His commitment to client satisfaction, technical accuracy, and timely delivery – supported by robust QA/QC measures – has contributed to the success of projects ranging up to $97M in construction cost. As a versatile project, lead, and/or support engineer, Jordan mindfully and effectively tailors his approach to project-specific needs. His cross-discipline technical expertise lies in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) design, including specifications, control schematics, P&IDs, control panel layouts, power system analysis, single-line diagrams, and electrical plans. In addition to design, Jordan brings extensive experience supporting construction administration, including RFPs, RFIs, submittals, and change order requests. With a strong technical foundation and collaborative approach, Jordan is an asset to any project team.
