Eastern Municipal Water District Selects LEE + RO with “As-Needed” Engineering Services Contract

Services Include Potable and Recycled Water Storage and Conveyance, Sewage Lift Stations, and Electrical Engineering

Eastern Municipal Water District (District) has selected LEE + RO as one of its pre-qualified consulting firms in three categories: (1) Potable and Recycled Water Storage and Conveyance Facilities, (2) Sewage Lift Stations, and (3) Electrical Engineering.

LEE + RO has considerable experience with similar “As-Needed” or on-call engineering services contracts for entities such as the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency, Coachella Valley Water District, Orange County Sanitation District, City of Riverside, City of Anaheim DPW and PUD, City of Brawley, City of San Clemente, City of San Diego, City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County DPW, Metropolitan Water District of So. Ca, City, County of San Francisco Public Works, and Moulton Niguel Water District.  

LEE + RO’s in-house engineering disciplines include civil, sanitary, process, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), and construction managers. The team has extensive experience in the three selected categories.

Potable water and recycled water storage and conveyance facilities: Project experience includes designing numerous potable water and recycled water pump stations and storage reservoirs, including new construction, retrofit, and rehabilitation projects.

Sewage lift stations: LEE + RO has successfully designed numerous sewage lift station projects with flows ranging from 150 GPM to 432 MGD, including retrofits and rehabilitation of existing stations and complete replacements with the construction of a new lift station. By consolidating the necessary major engineering disciplines required for lift station design, we have streamlined our multi-disciplinary process to maximize efficiency, maximize value to the client, and, most importantly, maximize results.

Electrical Engineering: LEE + RO’s team of ten electrical engineers has successfully designed electrical projects with design elements including transmission and power distribution, short circuit and coordination studies, I&C system design (wireless communication, fiber optics, SCADA), Title 24 lighting design, and emergency standby power design (including both generators and battery energy storage systems).
