LEE + RO has immediate openings for experienced, accomplished, and self-motivated electrical engineers to support our industry-leading engineering and design services.

The electrical engineer will work across various functional groups that are directly involved in the engineering, product development, implementation, design, and analysis of power distribution and lighting systems. The ideal candidates will be inventive problem-solvers who can work through technical challenges and employ pragmatic solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Perform detailed calculations to established standards and specifications
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
• Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks
• Support other departments and disciplines with testing and analysis as needed
• Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects
• Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering
• Maintain productivity and accuracy with multiple project deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSEE degree or higher
• EIT designation minimum, Electrical PE registration preferred, CA Electrical PE a significant plus
• Experience as a Project Manager is very desirable
• 3 - 10 years of experience, preferably in an engineering design consulting firm
• Experience with public works, water, and wastewater treatment plants a plus
• Experience with Instrumentation and Controls (I&C), PLCs, and SCADA highly desirable
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting and multitasking as the need arises
