LEE + RO’s headquarters office in City of Industry, CA, is seeking an Electrical Resident Engineer (RE) to provide on-site support for one of our exciting projects under construction in the heart of Los Angeles.
As an Electrical Resident Engineer, you will work closely with the Lead Resident Engineer, construction project team (e.g., Project Engineers, Estimators, Inspectors, Schedulers, etc.), and engage in teamwork and cooperation with all departments. In this role, you would support project teams on various tasks, including technical decisions, schedule reviews, change management, and project meetings with the contractor and stakeholders, to effectively deliver results on schedule.
In addition, you will participate in the contract change process, including receiving and responding to requests for information, developing and issuing requests for proposals, receiving and responding to requests for change, preparing engineer’s estimates and records of negotiations, preparing and issuing field change orders, and reviewing construction submittals for compliance with the technical specifications and contract documents. Leadership, communication, and organizational skills with experience in engineering and construction management are preferred.

SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $150,000/yr.
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and will be commensurate with the individual’s skills, experience, and education. These ranges are subject to modification in the future.

Applicants for this position are expected to be on-site Monday to Friday at one of our large infrastructure projects in the Los Angeles area.
