Services include chemical storage and metering systems for Reservoir Management Systems at four sites
Scope of Work
The District plans to acquire trailer-type RMS to provide disinfection at the reservoir sites until the permanent facilities are constructed. As part of the temporary system, the District intends to route chemical piping from the trailer-type RMS to the reservoirs below-grade then transition to above-grade piping near the reservoir. From this transition point, the piping will be routed along the reservoir walls to the mixers at the top of each tank, wherever possible. To further minimize construction costs, new chemical piping and electrical conduits will connect to the piping and conduits installed by SMWD as part of the temporary trailer-type RMS. LEE + RO will evaluate alternative RMS locations at each of the reservoir sites during a field study and assessment to determine the optimal location of the new RMS facilities.
Services
Engineering services include designs for construction of new bulk sodium hypochlorite and ammonium sulfate systems, including all equipment, double-walled chemical storage tanks, chemical metering pump skids, analyzers, and controllers, connected piping, valves, and electrical and instrumentation. The design will include all components necessary for complete and operable reservoir management systems. In addition to providing design services, LEE + RO is also providing bid phase services and engineering services during construction.
