Sr.
Project Managers
(Wastewater Treatment Process and Plant Engineering)
Offices:
City of Industry (Los Angeles Main), San Diego,

We
are looking for dynamic entrepreneurial water engineers who can
lead the firm’s growth to the next level.
The position requires BS or higher engineering degree
with California PE registration and 10 to 25 years of planning,
engineering and project management experience in municipal
wastewater treatment and water recycling process engineering and
treatment
plant design and construction projects.
Engineering and design experience in related wastewater
and water conveyance projects such as pumping stations,
reservoirs, pressure regulating stations, and pipelines for
wastewater and recycled water will be a plus.
Prefer candidates with a minimum 10 years of progressive
employment history with consulting firms.
We welcome additional engineering and project management
experience with public entities.
Candidates
must have good verbal and written communication as well as
people skills for staff supervision, client management and
business development.
Typical responsibilities will include project
management & accounting, process analysis, facility
condition assessment, preparation of engineering report, concept
design, engineering & final design, inter-discipline design
coordination, preparation or production coordination of plans
and specifications, cost estimating, construction phase
engineering services such as shop drawing review and RFI
processing, construction management (office engineering), and
client coordination.
Responsibilities will include business development such
as client development, proposal & interview preparation, and
other marketing engagements.
Qualified candidate will have opportunities for top

Project
Manager (Conveyance Systems)
Office:
City of Industry (Los Angeles Main)

Looking
for a project manager with BS or higher degree in civil
engineering with 10 to 20 years of planning, engineering,
project management, and construction experience in water
transmission and wastewater conveyance pipelines (new or
rehabilitation projects) and related facilities such as pressure
regulating stations and storage reservoirs.
New or rehabilitation project experience for large
diameter pipelines (24 to 96 inch diameter) will be a big plus.
Engineering and construction experience with pump
stations and treatment plants are big pluses but not mandatory.
Candidates must have California PE registration.
Experience in water distribution and/or wastewater
collection system modeling and master planning is desirable.
The selected candidate will lead the pipeline group in
the City of Industry office (Los Angeles Main Office).
Primary responsibilities will include planning studies
including alignment studies, right-of-way and easement
acquisition, engineering analysis and modeling; preparation of
master plans & engineering reports; engineering & design
and cost estimating; preparation of plans & specifications;
construction-phase engineering services such as shop drawing
review; construction management; and project/client management.
Secondary responsibilities will include business
development, proposal preparation, and other marketing
engagements.
The positions require excellent communication skills,
both written and verbal. |

Construction
Manager/Resident Engineer
(Municipal Water & Wastewater Systems)

Applicants
should possess 10+ years of resident engineering, construction
management and inspection of water transmission pipelines,
sanitary and storm sewer, pump stations, reservoirs, water and
wastewater treatment plants and other public infrastructure
projects.
Require BS degree in related engineering field, knowledge
in “Primavera” scheduling software, and good written &
verbal communication skills.
Calif. PE registration and/or the Construction Management
Association CCM certification are big pluses.
Primary duties include on-site construction management
& coordination, scheduling and construction activity
monitoring, processing of construction contractor’s submittals
and requests for information, construction quality control &
inspection, supervision of inspectors, plan and attend
construction meetings, documentation of construction activities,
contractor payment request review and processing, change order
documentation and processing, coordination of materials and
equipment testing, start-up & commissioning coordination,
punch-list management, acceptance testing, and post construction
services.
Experience in constructability review, cost estimating,
construction scheduling, start-up & commissioning and
construction claim management is desirable.
The firm is organizing a CM Group and the successful
candidate will be given an opportunity to lead the Construction
Management (CM) Group. |
