We are looking for the right talent for the following positions.

Civil Engineer / Project Manager
Location:  City of Industry (Los Angeles Main Office)

Under a Resource Revitalization Plan, LEE & RO, Inc. is looking for qualified engineers who can lead the firm into the next economic recovery and expansion.  LEE & RO, Inc., a public “wet infrastructure” consulting engineering firm established in 1979, is looking for project managers with credible engineering and project management experience in its City of Industry main office.  The position requires BS or higher degree with California PE registration and 8 to 20 years of planning, engineering, and project management experience in treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, and other associated conveyance and disposal facilities dealing with potable water, wastewater, recycled water, and storm water.  Candidates must have verbal and written communication and people skills.  Typical responsibilities will include project management, concept development, engineering, design and inter-discipline design coordination, preparation of plans and specifications; cost estimating; construction support services such as shop drawing review, construction management, client management, and business development.

 

Electrical Project Engineer
Location: City of Industry (Los Angeles Main Office)

Electrical Engineer/Project Engineer position is open with a consulting design firm in its Main Office in the City of Industry (20 miles east of Los Angeles and 15 miles north of Anaheim).  Require 5 to 15 years of electrical and power systems engineering, design, and project engineering experience with public works, institutional facilities, petrochemical and/or industrial projects.  Require BSEE or higher degree preferably with California “Electrical P.E.” registration.  Experience with water & wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and other similar public infrastructure projects is a big plus.  Applicants should have experience and skills in project management & client coordination and experience and communications & documentation.  Ability to use MS Intergraph CADD and/or AutoCAD design tool will be also considered.  Applicants must have engineering/design and construction experience in low and medium voltage power distribution, switchgear, MCCs and motor controls, lighting, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and emergency power & UPS systems.  Experience with instrumentation & controls system, SCADA, and DCS is desirable, but not mandatory.  Primary assignments will be varied and will include client coordination & project engineering, electrical studies, preparation of plans and specifications, cost estimating, and engineering services during construction including shop drawing review and response to requests for information.

Resident Engineer / Inspector
Location: Southern California (Los Angeles Area)

Applicants should possess minimum 5 years of resident engineering, inspection and construction management or coordination experience with public works projects such as water distribution pipelines, sanitary and storm sewer, site preparation, and pump stations, reservoirs and water and wastewater treatment plants.  Primary duties, depending upon qualifications and skills level, include:  construction management, processing of submittals and requests for information, field construction quality control (on-site inspection), plan and attend construction meetings, documentation of project & construction activities, payment review and processing, change order documentation and processing, coordination of materials and equipment testing, start-up coordination, punch-list, and acceptance testing.  Experience in constructability review, scheduling, and claim management with public works and institutional construction projects is desirable.  Applicants must possess good written and verbal communication skills.  Specialty inspection skills and working knowledge of scheduling and cost estimating software are big plus.  BS degree and California PE registration is desirable for the resident engineer position.
